One week left until the Kalv Festival 2021!
This year’s Kalv Festival will be inaugurated on Thursday, August 12th. And during four festival days, you get to take part in a program packed with in-depth composer portraits of a collection of peculiar and fantastic musicians.
The festival opens at 19.00 in two places in Kalv (school and campsite). All visitors are invited to participate in this Kalv Rite signed duo Hidden Mother. Bring your sounds and objects and join us as we clean the air from Corona and reborn the music life!
At 20.00 the events continue with ensemble mosaik’s concert Special instruments with music by Hanna Hartman, Clara Iannotta, Eduardo Moguillansky, Daniel Allas and Alyssa Aska.
The opening night ends with violinist Linda Jankowska, who gives us the sound of a strange violin in Pierluigi Billone’s Equilibrio. Cerchio.
The festival then continues with more concerts with both ensemble mosaic, Linda Jankowska and Hidden Mother, but is also expanded by RAGE thormbones (USA) and Gageego!
This year, the third international composition academy will also be held. This year digitally, but during the festival, the students’ music is presented live as well as the two teachers, Clara Iannotta and Dmitri Kourliandski.
