We are looking for choir singers!

Do you want to participate as a choir singer during this year’s 20th anniversary Kalvfestival?

We are looking for more singers for our Kalv Choir for the closing concert in Kalvs Church on Sunday 11/8 at 12.00.
Under the direction of Mark Tatlow, the Kalv Choir will perform a piece by Thomas Tallis and two by Arvo Pärt together with other festival musicians.
We are keen to gather as large a choir as possible for this concert. There will be rehearsals on Monday 5/8 at 18.00 and during the festival.

A musical journey and festival come to an end. The 20th anniversary is over, and we take part in music that echoes through several centuries.

We arrive at the old church with peace signs collected from nature. Is there any hope left?

The earth gives up its spirit and returns to its creator. A sudden thunderstorm and even an earthquake; for a moment all hell breaks loose. An ancient melody dissolves the ensuing silence. Then a song of a morning star is heard…
