One week to go until this year’s Kalv Festival August 8-11, 2024:
THE WANDERING SOUNDS OF KALV!

With only one week to go until the 20th anniversary of the Kalv Festival, it’s time to read this year’s program book and get acquainted with the concerts and events of the year!
4 days filled with world premieres, sound installations, talks and musicians at the highest level!

Come and be enchanted by Åsa Stjerna’s exploration of sea and forest, Gageego!’s sonic wandering in Klaus Lang’s style, Nina De Heney’s hypnotic double bass, ensemble mosaik, Elena Gabbrielli and Jonas Olsson’s respective tribute to Luigi Nono, Per-Anders Nilsson and Johannes Landgren’s interpretation of the pilgrim’s motto in the Kalv night, Linda Jankowska’s virtuoso artistry and not least Mark Tatlow’s thematic framing of the festival theme The Wandering Sounds of Kalv in no less than seven (7!) concerts which end in a gathering of forces where the Kalv Choir also gets a voice!
