Primarily a violinist, she works at an intersection of instrumental performance, improvisation, and composition.Together with Katherine Young they co-created the site-specific installation and co-composition \u2018boundarymind\u2019, co-produced with ESS and 6018th North, which premiered in Chicago in June 2022. Linda is a founding member and co-artistic director of Distractfold Ensemble. She has performed internationally at various festivals both as a chamber musician and soloists. Parable of the Prize of Heaven\u202f<\/span><\/i>follows a three-part trajectory of a set of biomythographic narratives derived from my upbringing in a Catholic culture. Field recordings of church spaces, organs, reverberating footsteps and glass, are merged with\u202fvibrating transducers on cymbals, friends reading quotes from Octavia Butler and S\u00f8ren\u202fKierkegaard, and circuit-bent Casios to create a non-linear sonic journey through locations,\u202f people, relationships and existential ideology.
